I purchased it, used at 190k, replaced the transmission and outfitted with Tvt fine micron Bypass filters for the Engine and Transmission. Your vehicle or equipment is like your body. If you put garbage in it runs like Yuck. Saving resources having equipment last longer and perform like new is not only cool it is smart. We just took a business trip and logged over 1500 miles travel in our experimental modified dodge mini van that has 250 thousand miles on it. The key part here is bragging rights on several aspects.
First we were loaded to the gills with equipment and the family came along to combine work with enjoying the beautiful Oregon coast. Our bottom line fuel mileage averaged 31 mpg! Our TvT experimental van has several factors into the Equation of obtainng 31 mpg. First and foremost I use a fuel modifier that deal with poor gas and the 10 percent ethanol. Second I use a fine micron, high air flow 100,000 mile air filter. Third my engine oil every ounce of it is cleaner that when it was poured out of the bottle because of the TvT fine Micron Filter. These clean environments creates less friction and wear to the internals. So my engine functions very efficient. Further more the oil I use, has the very best base stock so it can run and does not break down from the every best additives. My base oil with out my bypass filter can go 25,000 miles before break down.
I have analytical calibrated gauges on my vehicle that demonstrate accurate oil temp and pressure and with many miles far in excess of the 3000 mile oil myth the oil functions perfect. Further more I take samples and send them to the lab for comprehensive oil analysis. In addition to the gauges and testing, I have a fantastic device that lets me test the oil in the field called a portable oil monitor. Ok, the TvT Mini Van experimental transmission, At 190k miles I had it rebuilt and the mechanic did some dodge upgrades as this era transmission is very prone to failure.
